What's 2D/3D Hologram? One layer is 2D. More than one layer is 2D/3D. There's view distance between two layers, so there's viewing depth when you see different image in different layer.

We consider surface layer as base position. Hologram image on surface is exactly on the PET material without any depth.
This is 2D/3D hologram design with three layers, four color. First layer is floating above the surface, third layer is under the surface layer. Three layers are overlapped with different depth which generate artificial 3D effect. One layer hologram image is above the surface, another layer is under the surface.
